Junior Marketing Manager

The Role

The Junior Marketing Manager role provides effective and efficient support to TuneMojis’ marketing efforts. This role involves taking the lead on, and responsibility for, ongoing marketing campaigns and related projects. With an ability to work under pressure, prioritise, multi-task and manage projects from concept to completion - and optimization.

Responsibilities: 

1. Marketing activities:

  • Takes a lead role in the planning and execution of marketing activities
  • Actively researches and suggests ideas and opportunities to promote the company and services
  • Builds and maintains external relationships with partners (e.g. creators, brands, labels, ..) in the entertainment industry
  • Monitors campaign performance data and contributes to marketing reports, including campaigns such as partnership collaborations, events, advertising and social media activity
  • Monitors and analyses engagements on social media and responds as appropriate
  • Compiles ad-hoc reports and/or analysis as and when required
  • Engages with the TuneMoji creator community and understand their needs
  • Act as a resource across the organization to increase the alignment of the cross-functional teams 

2. Technical understanding:

  • Be a super-user of social media and messaging technologies (e.g. Instagram, Snap, WhatsApp..)
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of TuneMojis marketing capabilities
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging trends and technologies and their potential within TuneMoji projects

3. General:

  • Work closely with line manager to maximise own strengths, improve weaknesses and support individual career development
  • Takes a proactive role in promoting the TuneMoji brand, its work, identity and values

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a PR, sales or marketing-related subject)
  • You have 1.5 + years experience in business development, partnerships, tech, sales or marketing
  • Strong marketing generalist skill set. Proficient across all marketing tactics and channels, including events and social / online.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (written and spoken)
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Well organised; ability to prioritise; attention to detail; a pragmatic approach
  • Experience working with international partners at different time zones
  • Creative thinking and independent problem solving
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and some experience with design, photos, videos, HTML
  • A passion for digital; interest in latest digital trends, pop-culture and entertainment
